Where is it?
Zoom!

What is it?
An 8 week songwriting class, designed to help you structure, write and complete 2 commercial songs.

How does it work?
Charity Chapman, a commercial songwriter whose songs have been placed on commercials and t.v. shows around the world (please read her bio below), will walk you through different elements of how to create songs that have all the “radio ready” elements you need to be a great songwriter.

You will also learn about co-writing (an essential experience for songwriters) and even co-write with classmates during this class. If you do all of your homework, you will leave at the end of 8 weeks with 2 completed songs, and we will have a Zoom performance (please invite your friends and family!) to show off your tunes. As an offered bonus, you will receive a voice lesson (to be scheduled separately during those 8 weeks).

When is it?
Tuesdays, January 4th-February 22nd, 2022 from 7 – 8pm MST

What’s the cost?
$350

What if I don’t play an instrument?
We do recommend you have basic knowledge of some type of instrument for class. However, it can be VERY basic and, ultimately, isn’t a requirement. There’s also still time to sign up for our class, Beginner Chord Theory and Ear Training, or just a couple of lessons to be sure you understand chord basics. If you have questions about what that means, don’t hesitate to contact us at admin@coloradovoicestudios.com.
